Patrick Effiom Loses Out Of The Voice Nigeria Season 1


Cross River born musician and producer Patrick Effiom popularly known as SHADOW lost out the chance of becoming the first winner at the first edition of The Voice Nigeria season 1 on Sunday 31st July 2016.

It was a tension filled night for the 8 finalist and their supporters who made it to the finals.

After weeks of competition, Agharese Emokpae popularly known as A’rese was announced the winner of the first season of “The Voice Nigeria.”

The talented 28-year-old beat Chike, Cornel, and Brenda to win the coveted prize.

Although our own Shadow lost at the finals, cross riverians were not disappointed with the result. A lot of twitter and facebook users went online to show their support and encouragement to Shadow. A facebook user posted ” Congratulations Patrick Effiom for making it to the finals.” He added,” wipe your tears because so many opportunities lay ahead, we are all waiting to welcome you because you have made us proud despite the fact that you didn’t win but your performance was great. We are not disappointed in you or regret voting you. It is not always easy to get to the final stage of a competition but you made it to the finals meaning you are good. I promise next time you will be a winner. I felt so bad when I saw your tears on screen, so wipe your tears cause we go got your back. Life continues…”

Meanwhile, Other encouraging tweets and posts has been pouring in support of Shadow.  Shadow’s consistency and performance at the competition has shown us that anybody can achieve anything only if you pursue your dreams on the right path.
